Saturday 20th March 2010 @ 7.30pm Bootleg Blondie + 60s, 70s & 80s band + a disco An evening of music, fun and dancing at The Burton Hotel, Kington, brought to you by Kington Festival. Tickets are £12.50. Purchased in advance from Morgans, High Street, Kington or contact Geoff Cooper on 01544 231706. No entry without a ticket.


Saturday 20th March COME and SING MESSIAH at St. Mary's Church Doors open 5pm, rehearsal starts 5.30pm, 7.15pm refreshment break, 8.15pm - 9.30pm Messiah sing-through. Bring your own score or hire for the evening (£2) at the door. Pre-booking strongly advised.
Tickets £10 or £5 (under 25s) which includes refreshments. This is a Kington Choral fundraiser on behalf of St. Michael's Hospice.

1st and 2nd May Mayfly Weekend incorporating on Saturday 4.30 am The Leen Dawn Chorus and 6.30 pm screening at the New Inn of “The Lost World of Mr Hardy” and on.Sunday 11.00am Flyfishing/Cooking/Riverfly on the river at Pembridge organised by "The Duffers", the fund raising wing of LAFA, the Lugg and Arrow Fisheries Association who are dedicated to environmental improvement of the two rivers.
